Aggressive style and performance for your E9X 3
Series - only from Vorsteiner!
Vorsteiner's E9X 3 Series aerodynamics
program is designed to increase the aggressive looks of your 3
Series while reducing weight and increasing down force for high
speed stability. Vorsteiner products are known for exceptional
quality, strength, fitment, and longevity. Vorsteiner uses a
Carbon Fiber
Honeycomb Matrix structure to increase these traits compared to
traditional hand laid carbon fiber and fiber glass materials. Each
and every part must be tested and passed in their highly detailed
quality control before leaving the Vorsteiner factory. Vorsteiner
products have the best fitment in the industry and considered the
standard in automotive carbon fiber components. Components have a
factory like fitment and installation, incorporating factory like
fasteners and hardware.
Vorsteiner's brand foundation is rooted
on key technological advancements in the automotive industry. This
is why a focus to develop true lightweight components through the
use of proprietary vacuum technology manufacturing is their core
focus. The lighter the car the more power and handling feedback is
sent back to the driver. As a result of replacement of steel and
aluminum body panels, the power to weight ratio of Vorsteiner tuned
vehicles is fully maximized. Vacuumed polymer plastics (DVWP) and
high temparature vacuumed carbon fiber reinforcement plastic (CFRP)
are commonly used in advanced military aerospace but also
throughout the Vorsteiner product line.
Key Benefits & Highlights of
Vorsteiner Vacuum Carbon Fiber Technology:
-
Maximizes power to weight ratio
-
Decreases vehicle fuel usage
-
Resistance to rust and corrosion in harsh
environments
-
Exhibits extremely long life even under extreme
conditions
-
Low percentage of resin content ratio increases
strength and weight compared to wet lay up
production
-
Vacuum compression of carbon fiber parts exhibits
more visually stunning looks and uniformity
-
Up to 60% lighter than factory replacement
parts
Each Vorsteiner product comes with a
Vorsteiner Authenticity Card that is embossed with a unique serial
number that is identified and matched up to the factory database to
ensure your factory warranty and high resale value.
*Some Vorsteiner pieces have an
optional material using Pur-Rim plastics. The Pur-Rim process is based
on the injection of the two polyurethane components (a polyol and
an isocyanate) inside a mould cavity. Pur-Rim is the grouping of
polyurethanes that serve to produce highly compact, rigid-elastic
mostly thin-walled products, often strengthened by means of mold
components. The main disadvantage to Pur-Rim plastic is the amount
of weight (similar to a stock stamped steel
piece)
Advantages to Pur-Rim:
-
The best material for body parts application
because it's the most resistant to curb hits
-
The most flexible so therefore can take the most
abuse; essential if your car is low enough to become friendly with
pot holes and curbs
-
Excellent fitment
-
Strength
-
Rebound
-
Impact absorption
-
Shape retention
-
Weather resistance
Disadvantages to
Pur-Rim:
-
No weight savings compared to stock
piece
-
Cannot be left raw for attractive look - must be
painted
-
Difficult to repair
