Tie rod assembly condition is absolutely crucial for optimal steering feel and overall safety of the vehicle. We suggest a close inspection* of the inner and outer tie rod joints on an annual basis for play or damage, especially on a track driven vehicle. Our tie rod ends are made by reputable manufacturers for ultimate longevity and value. We only suggest replace the tie rods as a complete assembly considering the inner and outer joints tend to have a similar service life.
Sold as a complete assembly with locking nut. Locking plates are available separately.
*Place the front of the vehicle on jack stands to remove load from the front tires. Get a friend or significant other to hold each front tire at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock position and shake the tire back and forth while you feel the inner and outer joints for play. Any play is too much play - replace immediately.
All orders are shipped via UPS unless weight or size is prohibitive or previous arrangements have been made. Motor freight will be used to ship oversized items. Shipping charges are estimates only and may be adjusted up or down if required. UPS Red and Blue and USPS service is available at an additional charge. Shipments may not be dropped off without written acceptance at carrier’s discretion. Shipping charges include a small handling fee to pay for supplies and labor. Shipping charges are not refundable.
