TC Kline Smart Design Coilover Systems

TC Kline's Smart Design Coilover System is an excellent suspension kits that can cover a broad range of applications, from street to race. With the Smart Design kit, ride height is completely adjustable front and rear. Whether your looking to dial in your ride height for that perfect look or corner balance your car for ideal cross weights, this system's adjustable perch assembly give you the ability to get the car exactly the way you want it. Ride height can be adjusted from .5" to 2.5" below stock height.

An added feature of the TC Kline kit is the ability to adjust the rebound and compression stiffness of the damper individually with TC Kline's proprietary-valved KONI double adjustable shocks. The rebound and compression can be adjusted individually for low-frequency bumps and motions usually associated with street driving. For autocross, driving schools, and even curvy mountain roads, the damper rebound can be stiffened for better body control over high-frequency bumps and motions associated with performance street and aggressive track driving. The ability to fine tune the rebound and compression separately is worth its weight in gold at the track. A well dialed-in damper set is worth a few extra seconds at any track. Rebound adjustment is made externally at the top of the strut and shock while compression adjustment is made externally at the bottom of each damper.

The Smart Design system uses TC Kline's exclusive "VVS" alloy springs. VVS alloy is stronger than traditional chrome silicon steel, allowing a spring that is thinner in wire diameter and with fewer coils. The result is more suspension travel and up to a 35% reduction of unsprung weight (twice the handling benefit of reducing sprung weight).

The TC Kline Smart Design kit includes front struts, rear shocks, springs in your choice of available rates*, TCKR Rear Height Adjustors and specially formulated Buna rubber rear mounts. Rear mounts may be upgraded to TCKR monoball rear mounts for better shock control at the expense of some street comfort. We only suggest this product for cars seeing numerous track events per year.

*Spring rates are custom ordered based on needs and driving style. Call for suggested rates. Front spring rates range from 300lb/in to 650lb/in (50lb/in increments). Rear spring rates are available in rates from 400lb/in to 700lb/in (100lb/in increments).
