Supersprint's E46 M3 exhaust system
components have been researched, designed and tested to insure
additional power and to enhance overall performance. Each component
from header to tailpipe is accurately tuned and suited to each
particular engine by Supersprint engineers. Exhaust flow rates and
velocity are dramatically increased by Supersprint designs while
still retaining factory OEM diameter tubes. We know it is actually
easier to lose horsepower through misuse of larger diameter tubing
and badly designed silencers. All design is validated by extensive
testing which includes hours of dyno testing on Supersprint's
chassis dynamometer for optimal performance over the stock exhaust
system. When you look at a Supersprint product you can see the
attention to detail, the quality materials, precise welds, rather
than crimped seams, and the superb finish. It's obvious Supersprint
produces one of the best exhaust system in the world.
A critical balance between lower
back pressure level and flow rate must be ensured for optimum
performance. When Supersprint develops a system for a new car, hand
built prototypes are made and extensively dyno tested, rebuilt and
re-tested. Combinations of tubes and perforated cores with outside
diameter ranging from 32mm up to 76mm are utilized for best
results. Flanges and hangers are OE or better quality for a perfect
fit every time. Housings are all manufactured from 1.5mm material
that is MIG welded at all seams and these systems are 100% 304
stainless for durability.
The quality of a Supersprint system
also includes meeting sound emissions restrictions. All Supersprint
street legal systems meet the stringent requirements of TUV testing
for quality, design, construction and sound emissions. All
components are 100% stainless steel, and all tubing is mandrel bent
to assure you the highest flow volume. Applications include all E46
M3 models.
Options Include:
Section 1:
- Straight Pipe
- This section has no catalysts or resonators for
100% full flow and sound.
- Straight Pipe Including
Catalyst - This section incorporates
high-flow catalysts to comply with emissions regulations. The
reduced cell count from the OE 400 CPSI to a high flow 200 CPSI
makes the Supersprint racing converters the most free flowing on
the market today.
- Supersprint Section 1 can be used
with factory exhaust manifold and/or Section 2.
Section 2:
- X-Pipe
- This section has no resonators for 100% full flow
and sound. An X-pipe is incorporated into the section for added
savaging and flow.
- X-Pipe Including
Resonator - This section has a tuned
resonator to reduce overall sound volume. An X-pipe is incorporated
into the section for added savaging and flow.
- Supersprint Section 2 can be used
with factory Section 1 and/or Section 2.
Section 3 with Connecting
Pipes:
- Street Muffler
- This muffler offers a mellow, drone free sound
designed specifically for street use.
- Sport Muffler
- This muffler set is designed for a sportier tone
and reduced weight.
- Race Muffler - Offers the
most sound and lightest weight. Can be used in conjunction with the
resonated Section 2 for an aggressive street system.
- Each version has 80mm polished
stainless steel tips.
- All versions include the necessary
connecting pipes for mounting to factory Section 2 if
applicable.
