TheBimmerWorld View - The Powerflex E46M3 DifferentialMounts are a fantastic piece for the street and track. These mounts were created using the stiffer95A grade urethane or for a comfortable ride choose the yellow 70A more plyable bushings.

Powerflex polyurethane bushingsare designed to decrease the amount of deflection in your car'ssuspension for better handling, driver feedback, and tirewear. We use premium polyurethane formulated specifically forour company to provide minimal NVH (noise, vibration, harshness)and increased longevity over the stock rubber bushings. Thequality of Powerflex products is visible the moment you open thebox: premium polyurethanes, detailed moldings, and CNC-machined 304stainless sleeves. Lube-holding grooves and knurls willensure the supplied copper-based grease stays in place for extendedsqueak-free operation.

Powerflex products carry a Lifetime Warranty on every partproduced.

Powerflex is a truly engineered product, not just a copy of thestock part in a different material. We have redesignedmany common factory failure parts, allowing the articulationrequired to far outlast the stock part it is replacing whilemaintaining control of the movement for increasedperformance. Additionally, Powerflex Engineering Lineproducts for some fitments include unique features likepolyurethane monoballs and offset geometry to provide ultimateperformance without the harshness of a metallic monoball racepart. Polyurethane engine/drivetrain mounts andreinforcements are available for some fitments to reduce movementfor better throttle response and more power to thewheels.

Bushings are produced in one of three durometers - yellow (70A -stiffer than rubber), and black (95A - very stiff) measuredhardness. Unlike other brands using only one urethane for allapplications, Powerflex design engineers choose the correcthardness to allow for the specific movement or rigidity requiredfor each location while minimizing unwanted NVH. Urethanehardness is standardized per fitment and location, but select partsare available in an optional stiffer urethane for track andautocross performance where NVH is less important.

Powerflex bushing offerings are very thorough, but are sold perlocation to fit each customer's specific needs. Anautomobile's bushings and mounts wear at different rates making"complete-kit" bushing sets unnecessary for most buyers. Replacing only the weak links in your car's suspension is a greatway to tighten handling without stressing the budget.

Powerflex copper-based grease is supplied with every bushingset. We suggest using only copper-based grease forlubrication. Bushings will rarely need re-lubing due to theunique grooves and knurls cast into the material to hold thelubricant. We do not suggest using an "anti-seize" productfor lubrication.
