These engine mounts have undergone FEAand are CAD/CAM manufactured to eliminate any weak points andprovide a solid foundation for your powertrain for zero weighttransfer or torque movement. Engine mounts are 5mm shorter andtransmission mounts are 1mm shorter than stock to lower the weightof your engine assembly and center of gravity. Applications includeE36, E46, and E9X* 3 Series cars.

Keep your E36/E46 transmission in place forbetter power delivery and no money shifts!

Over the years we have heard story after story ofthe dreaded "money-downshift" where a e36/e46 driver accidentallydownshifts from 5th to 2nd gear for an instant engine disaster! Thisissue has been increasingly common as the stock transmission mounts continue toweaken from age, allowing the transmission to move under load. As thetransmission moves left and right, the gear shift assembly becomes less accurateincreasing the chances of mis-shifts. The best solution is a stiffenedtransmission mount set that decreases the movement of the transmission allowing moreaccurate shifts and better power delivery through the drivetrain.

Our transmission mounts have beendesigned to greatly reduce transmission movement while minimizing the increasein NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) in the cabin. We've incorporated a medium durometer urethanefor NVH isolation and a alloy upper cup to greatly reduce movement. Thiscombination make an excellent compromise for street cars seeing numerous trackweekends a year. We also suggest this kit for track dedicated cars not needing a solid mounting solution. For cars making occasional track/autocrossvisits or drivers more sensitive to NVH, wesuggest a less aggressive Rogue Engineering transmission mount set also found inour online catalogue.

This part was created in our WorldChallenge race program and through a partnership with Diffsonline,is now available for public purchase.

This starts life as a stock ZF transmission 5-speed (that BMWcharges $2,280 plus core for). It is completely rebuilt to stockspecs to make shifting smoother and faster. This transmission canbe shifted as fast as a sequential box by an experienceddriver!

While the internals are out, all non-friction mesh and bearingsurfaces are cleaned through REM polishing. This isotropicpolishing process leaves gears and bearing surfaces mirror smooth,which reduces friction (heat and driveline power loss).

In our cars, we saw a 2-3% reduction in driveline losses on achassis dyno with this part alone (this equates to 6-10 Hp on anaverage M3 Prepared class engine!) - plus more time spentaccelerating due to faster shifts.

This unit is stock on a E36 M3 and328, E46 328 and 330, and someothers. Can be retrofitted to most race applications. Call with further questions or specifications. Price does notinclude $750 core charge for an acceptable piece (no junkplease!). Customer responsible for return coreshipping.

The BMW stock mounts allow the transmission to shift in turns, meaning the shifter pattern will also change location somewhat. At best, this means a delay while you find the right gear. We have sold several replacement engines to those that weren't lucky enough to catch the mis-shift.

The Rogue design is much beefier than the conical BMW mount and is recommended for any car that sees the track.

This mount fits all manual transmission E36, E46, 6cyl Z3, E34, and E39 cars. One kit includes two mounts and all hardware needed for the install. Mount is correct height so no metal enforcer shim is required.
