NGK's Iridium IX spark plug is an excellentupgrade for heavily tracked and forced induction engines needing adurable plug with a tip that maintains a proper operatingtemperature. The temperature range of these plugs is suggested formodified BMW engines with increased compression, aggressiveignition and cam timing, and/or forced induction. Getting thecorrect temperature range plug will maintain a temperature highenough to prevent fouling yet be cool enough to preventpre-ignition. While there are many things that can causepre-ignition, selecting a spark plug in the proper heat range willensure that the spark plug itself is not a hot spot source in thecombustion chamber.

These are Bosch OEM replacement parts. Cheaperparts are available from Bremi and other manufacturers, but Boschrotors are superior and the only part we would use on our personalcars.

NOTE FOR E30 M3 - The E30 M3 had two styles ofdistributor cap/rotor combinations. We sell the older style usuallydue to the lower expense, but for dedicated track cars that seeconstant high-RPM use, we recommend the updated version. These parts must be used in correct pairs, please check yourexisting part numbers if you are not ordering bothparts:

These 8mm ignition wire sets are madeusing the same OEM Beru connectors and BMW looms, but thedifference stops there. Each set of Bimmerworld performanceignition wires is manufactured to exacting standards using the bestsilicone cable available. With a low resistance 18 strand coppercore, our wires deliver more energy to the spark plug, whileproviding superior RFI suppression. Available in black, blue, red,yellow, or green. All kits include dielectric grease for properelectrical contact, coil wire, impulse cable if required, andGenuine BMW wire loom. The best choice for any BMW - higherperformance than stock wires at a lower price! When replacing yourignition wire set, remember to look at your cap and rotor forexcessive wear.

The black wire sets are 7mm and arecompared to factory premium replacement wire sets. Black sets are$5.00 less per set.
