SSI Stealth Underpanel - E36 3 Series

The Stealth Underpanel is the culmination of many hours of problem solving geared towards the e36 front bumper assembly. The stock plastic under tray and pork chops used to protect the engine from road debris and reinforce the bumper cover have a habit of ripping away from the car at speed, when bumped into curbs or over speedbumps, or from age in general.

Using 3D Solidworks computer design and a bit of effort, SSI has created a much more sturdy, one-piece design made from a special UV stable, crinkle finish, black polyethylene. The material not only is very attractive, but is made to withstand harsh extreme environments and will flex but not bend or shatter on impact even in very cold weather. Now it would nearly require a front end collision to remove it!

The Stealth Underpanel will end your need to think about the underside of your front bumper. Not only will it make your front end look whole again and improve its aerodynamics over the missing pieces, but it will keep out the rocks and road debris which can damage the engine’s belts, pulleys, and other vital components. Lowered cars benefit even further with the added ground clearance.

Fits all 92-99 E36 3 Series cars. Kit comes with all hardware, parts, and instructions, and takes approximately 30 minutes to install using a Philips screwdriver, 7 & 8 mm sockets, and a drill with a 1/8^” bit.
