SPAL Automatic Programmable Fan Controller VER 3

SPAL's Programmable Fan Controller is the ideal way to control your fan's operation. Simply choose the Low and High temperature settings you desire. When the low temperature setting is reached the fan begins spinning at 50% speed. As the engine temperature increases, the speed of the fan slowly increases until it reaches the High setting, where it is then running at 100%. This results in increased fan life and reduced operational noise.

The system can operate dual fan setups with the ability to trigger an external fan relay to power your second fan. Additionally, an input for your air conditioning system allows fans to run at 100% when the A/C is activated. Built in timing features keep fans off during modern vehicle defrost cycles and onboard status indicator lights report error codes and let you know the system is active and ready.

Many new additional features have been added to this third revision, including fan status output for in vehicle verification of fan operation, over current protection and smart soft start for lower inrush spikes from the fan system.

Applications include all cars incorporating a SPAL electric pull or push fan. Incorporates into the factory coolant temperature sensor for easy install.

Note: If this unit is used with a non-SPAL fan, fan must have a brushed DC motor that draws between 4-30 Amps. Using the controller with any other application will void the warranty.
