The BMW stock mounts allow the transmission to shift in turns, meaning the shifter pattern will also change location somewhat. At best, this means a delay while you find the right gear. We have sold several replacement engines to those that weren't lucky enough to catch the mis-shift. The Rogue design is much beefier than the conical BMW mount and is recommended for any car that sees the track. This mount fits all manual transmission E36, E46, 6cyl Z3, E34, and E39 cars. One kit includes two mounts and all hardware needed for the install. Mount is correct height so no metal enforcer shim is required.

These are substantially beefier than the stock transmission mounts. Shifting is definitely more precise and there's little, if any, extra NVH with these mounts.

The transmission feels more solid, shifting feels more crisp and quicker responsive at takeoff. There's less whining up of the trans. bushing during hard acceleration. No increase in cabin noise. PERFECT
Fixed my shifting issues at the track

Had trouble finding 3rd and 4th gear during open tracking. Replaced the mounts even though the stock ones looked fine. Have no problems now.
