The BimmerWorld team has used
Racetech seats for the last three years. After sitting in literally
every seat on the market, these are the most comfortable and best
fitting for a range of drivers. These FIA homologated versions do
not require a seatback brace. Viper version seats were originally
constructed for the Viper Comp Coupe, but are a universal fit.
This seat has been officially tested to
45g's - a New Zealand stock car driver with a HANS walked away from
an 81g hit with this seat intact.
4009HRV seats feature extensive
lateral support in both thigh and torso areas to minimize fatigue,
as well as additional wrap-around support in the shoulder locations
for added operational and crash support. Constructed with an FRP
fiberglass and kevlar/carbon-fiber shell, durable foam padding,
removable cushions mid-back to lower thigh. Cover is black fabric
with gray suede wear patches. Requires Racetech RB1009V sidemount
brackets.
