PFC brakes

I usually don't do these reviews unless I believe 150% in the product. This is the best brake upgrade short of going to a BBK. I have 4 track events on the rotors and pads and they still look almost new and this is traveling at speeds of 140mph. Thx Bimmerworld

I am currently running front and rear direct drive rotors, brass guide pins with z-rated pads. the pedal feel and bite is perfect,no knock back, and great bite. Heat dissipation is phenomenal. highly recommend this setup
A Must for the Track
From Andy West of Glen Ellen, California on .
When I purchased my E46 M3, it came with aftermarket one piece rotors (Centric, I believe), Axxis Ultimate pads and ATE Super Blue fluid. My car is primarily used for fun and HPDE events, and under hard braking I would feel some vibration in the wheel and, while there wasn't outright brake fade or a soft pedal, it wasn't a reassuring feeling steaming into turn 11 at Sears Point. I wasn't ready for a big brake kit, but felt that the brakes could be a lot better. The Performance Friction brake package seemed like a screaming deal on special. I only did the front rotors (just resurfaced the rears), but the difference in feel was phenomenal. Absolutely smooth and vibration free. I went with PF's Z-rated pads which work well enough as a mixed use pad, I'm going to look for something with more bite. Be really careful when you go out to bed them in because you with not have brakes until you get them good and hot to build up a layer on the rotors. Don't forget to order a set of brass guide pins for the rear calipers and get some high-temp brake lube.
