H&R Sport Springs are the #1
selling performance street springs for BMW automobiles - and for
good reason!
One of the first steps in suspension
tuning is to replace your vehicle’s stock springs. Installing
H&R Sport Springs means superb ride comfort and increased
driving confidence. H&R Sport Springs provide a lower center of
gravity and reduce body roll for better handling and chassis
balance. Progressive spring rates are increased by 10-20% over
stock. The progressive spring rate design provides superb ride
quality and comfort, allowing for a stock like ride during normal
conditions, then stiffening up for proper chassis composer when the
roads get twisty! As a benefit, a lower wind resistance signature
will make the vehicle more streamlined and improve gas
mileage.
H&R Special Springs are high
quality products—they will not set or sag, they are designed and
manufactured to be strong, resilient, and more durable than other
automotive coil springs. All H&R springs are crafted from a
special 54SiCr6 spring steel to ensure premium quality and
performance. Springs are shot-peened to increase life by more than
200%. All production is completed in-house so we can ensure the
quality of our products. Each spring is 100% tested before leaving
the ISO9001 certified production facility in Germany.
We always suggest pairing H&R
Sport Springs with Bilstein Sport dampers. This has been the "tried
and true" combination for years and is still considered the best
setup for a hard driven street car. The damping rate matches the
Sport springs perfectly and the shortened damper internals allows
full travel of the lowered suspension. This is an excellent setup
for Bimmers seeing double duty as a daily driver plus autocross
and/or driving schools. The ride stays compliant for daily use, and
composed during serious performance driving.
Highest quality assurance standards with TÜV and ISO9001
certification.
As always, 100% made in
Germany.
