In a
race/track environment, a lower splitter is great for downforce,
but it will be damaged on occasion during an off-track excursion.
If the splitter is attached to your bumper cover, it will take your
bumper (and paintjob) with it, leading to a costly repair. The use
of standoffs will allow the splitter to come off alone, resulting
in much less damage to your car.
This
kit mounts the front of your MaxVelocity Evo II splitter to the
structural bumper support of your car. This kit is to be used
in place
of the standard front mounting hardware that attaches the splitter
to your bumper.
Kit
includes 3 mounting brackets and hardware. Trimming of bumper cover
in a hidden area is required for installation.
