Green Filters use 2 layers of woven cotton (like an oxford shirt). There are 3 main benefits to woven cotton, its: thinner, holds oil better, and is stronger. Being thinner the benefit is a little better flow of air but with out sacrificing the filtration. (Green still filters to 5 microns).
