stock rubber intake boot on your BMW is a good functional piece,
but leaves power on the table. The bellows design creates flow
turbulence. Additionally, the common Euro HFM adaptor piece has
very abrupt transitions over a short length and disrupts airflow as
have found a silicone hose manufacturer made this intake boot to
our specifications, replacing the stock rubber boot. High quality
4-layer silicone construction will withstand anything you can throw
at it for years to come. No more dry-rotting rubber! Hp increases
from 3-8 Hp seen in testing from this piece.
all E36 3 Series with M50/52 6 cylinder motor, 1996-1998 Z3 6
cylinder, and 1996-2000 MZ3. Will not fit cars that retain factory
traction control (this boot will allow removal of this piece for
additional power gains). All hoses come with two breather ports and
plugs to cover them when not used due to your specific
configuration. Euro HFM not included. May require slight relocation
of charcoal canister.

Other than only having one hose clamp when I installed it, everything went on, and is smooth sailing!

Does what it's suppose to do, I trimmed roughly an inch out of it because it was squishing against my strut tower. That was annoying but no biggie. Bimmerworld is amazing and it shipped relatively quickly.

This is an awesome intake elbow, the silicone is really high quality and it fits perfectly. I got tired of the stock rubber elbows developing cracks. This looks really nice in the engine bay and compliments a cold air intake very nicely

I absolutely love this product! Fitment was spot on, and defintely noticed a difference in throttle response, I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking to replace their OEM boot. Excellent customer service and fast shipping too!!

Great product does what it's supposed to. Gives back that lost horse power from the old rubber one cracking.
