HKS (one of the most reputable names
in forced induction tuning) has introduced a new line of premium
full cat-back performance exhausts. We really like the OE-Plus look
of the HKS exhaust system and mellow, drone-less sound. This piece
consists of 100% SUS304 65mm diameter stainless steel mid-pipes,
connector tubes, dual mufflers, and 97mm BIMMERWORLD EXCLUSIVE
polished stainless steel tips*. Additionally, a sturdy anti-flex
plate is included to keep the exhaust in proper alignment as is
grows and contracts with heat. The twin mufflers utilize a
micro-fiber mesh sheet wrapping around the internals of the muffler
tube to prevent muffler packing from escaping over time, thus
increasing the durability of the system. The mid-pipe of the 335
system incorporates a "H pipe" for balanced pipe pressures and
harmonics for improved performance and sound.
The HKS Legal system is engineered
to comply with the 95dB noise limit law specified by the California
Highway Patrol and the Society of Automotive Engineers. The system
is a direct bolt-on including all necessary gaskets and hardware
for simple installation for the do-it-yourself
enthusiast.
