BimmerWorld E30 3 Series Swaybar Packages

A highly-tuned performance E30 swaybar set designed for superior operation and fitment.

Note - The BimmerWorld rear bar is designed to run in the stiffest setting without droop limiting the rear.  We consider this a major advantage over other bars which cannot operate in the stiffer position to control roll because they also pick up the rear tire in this adjustment.  If your existing rear bar is best in full soft (or you don't run one), it is likely NOT because you couldn't use more rear bar to balance the car's roll couple, it is because your existing bar is geometrically incorrect to run in a stiffer position.

The BimmerWorld E30 swaybar kits are specifically designed for E30 (including M3) track enthusiasts who are looking for added body control and the ability to easily adjust chassis balance on the fly. Each bar is made of stressed relieved, hardened, high-carbon steel with forged ends and a powder coated finish for durable, long-lasting performance. The front bar has a 22mm diameter and is non-adjustable to meet race class regulations. With this in consideration we pre-drilled the link attachment point in the stiffest location and left extra pressed-forged bar material ahead of the hole for an additional adjustment point for drivers not participating in the Spec E30 racing series. The front bar has also been designed to allow ample room for aftermarket headers.

The 19mm rear bar is designed like no other E30 bar on the market by incorporating a two inch drop (see image) in the arms to allow extra rear suspension travel for rear wheel traction and corner exit speed, even when the bar is adjusted to its stiffest setting. This allows complete adjustability (three holes) control of the rear bar without any of the liabilities of over stiffening the bar. Customers can purchase the front, rear, or both as a package and the hardware as needed.

Swaybar link options include:

• Adjustable (Non-M) - Spherical rod-end style links with high-end 4130 heat-treated, nickel plated, chromoly steel joints with Teflon lining for extended service life, street or track. Rear links come with mounting reinforcements that require welding. These are the highest quality components we could find - With a proper installation these should never break.
• Adjustable (M3)- Kit uses our strut mounted spherical swaybar links (not pictured) at the front axle and the same spherical rear links as the non-M kit. Links use same high quality rod ends as above.
• None Supplied - We also have the option of selling the bars with no links for customers who already have links from their existing swaybar kits.

Mounting options include:

• Premium Powerflex polyurethane swaybar mounting bushings and reinforcement components necessary for the added force of larger bars. Front bushings come with reinforcement tabs that require welding. Rear bushing brackets are reinforced and incorporate the trunk floor for added strength.
• Arms can also be purchased without mounting bushings or hardware for customers who already have these parts.

Applications include all E30 cars including the E30 M3. All components are made in the USA excluding bushing which are made in the UK.
