AiM SmartyCam On-Board Camera System

The BimmerWorld View - We use this piece for all our pro racing in-car. The picture quality is excellent, the overlays are very configurable, and one of the biggest features for us is the camera starts and stops automatically and even powers on by itself - no more trying to remember if the camera is running while strapped in on grid or missed footage!

SmartyCam records your technical data together with video so you can accurately analyze your sessions. SmartyCam combines a solid state digital video recorder with high speed GPS and real-time data overlays. Configurable instrument transparencies, real-time track position and GPS lap timing result in the most stunning video ever seen from an on-board camera. An ideal tool for all motorsports enthusiasts.

You don't need an AIM logger to use SmartyCam. It can be used in all situations, on all kind of vehicles as it can source data simply from integrated GPS and internal three-axial accelerometer and/or directly to your engine control unit (depending on application). Video can be easily downloaded to a PC via memory card or through a fast (480 Mbps) USB cable for DVD burning and TV review.

Includes software, power wire (if not using internal battery), charger, video software, and 4G micro-SD card.  Also includes external GPS antenna - when combined via CAN to your AiM MXL Pista, this GPS becomes part of your MXL system, eliminating the need for a trackside beacon.
