Active Autowerke E36 M3 Track Pipe

The exhaust is the largest restriction on the E36 6 cylinder cars.  This quality engineered piece features all stainless steel construction and a high flow straight through design for more efficient air flow and produces real horsepower gains (+26 rwhp - 1995 M3, +13 rwhp 1996-1999 M3). Air flow restriction was also minimized by the use of a 3.0" high flow resonator. Substantial horsepower gains have been verified on the dyno, making this high flow exhaust track pipe a very attractive "power adder" for the BMW M3.

This track pipe replaces the factory exhaust catalyst and bolts up to your existing exhaust manifold and factory rear muffler. It is an easy drop-in fit for the 1995 E36 M3 and can be fitted to the 96-99 E36 M3 with installation of additional simulators (2 Oxygen sensor simulators included in 96-99 package). All of the track pipe hanger placements precisely follow factory settings.

The exhaust tone produced is a nice mellow burble at low rpms and a distinct sound at wide open throttle.  Weighing in at 28lbs, this exhaust track pipe also saves weight over the stock BMW M3 catalyst (40 lbs).
