Active Autowerke E36 M3 Street/Track Header

This new header from Active Autowerke is a proven performer. The exhaust is the most restrictive part of the E36 M3. Free up exhaust flow and your engine can really start to make power. Bolt on gain to a stock system is 7 rear wheel Hp, but combined with Sunbelt cams and other performance parts, results even more impressive.

Made of T304 stainless steel with thick walls for a rugged component that will endure time, rather than a 2 year lifespan for some of the lighter pieces available. Tubular long tube design scavenges exhaust gasses for optimum performance.

Header design also incorporates a quick releasing V-Band clamping system that makes for very tight seals without the need for conventional gaskets that will eventually blow. Modular design allows the header to be removed with the cylinder head for quicker repairs at the race track.

Fits all E36 6 cylinder cars, but the large 2.5" primary tubes are optimal for larger displacement engines in the E36 M3 (including Euro engine versions). Modular design gives you extreme flexibility for exhaust options:
