The new Active Autowerke Processor (in
collaboration with AEM) was designed to get the most out of
your 135/335/535's twin turbo* engine. The processor works with
your factory engine control unit to get maximum performance based
on performance modifications, fuel octane level, and other
parameters. It features Digital Technology with 3-d mapping
capability that allows you to maximize your potential gains while
making sure your car is still running well within its limits. The
Active Processor also has the capability to be uploaded on the
workbench without a wire harness. All that is required is a USB
cable and a PC with the included upload software. We’ve has also
implemented a map switching feature which allows you to switch
between maps. Whether it is a custom map or our basic Stage 1.5
performance map, the Active Processor’s Map Switching capability
will handle the job over and over again. The new Active Processor
also includes a custom harness kit with detailed installation
instructions and comes preloaded with our Stage 1.5 software on our
proprietary V3 firmware that is compatible on all current
production 335, 535 and 135's. When it comes to performance gains,
the Active Processor produces over 65Hp and over 85ft-lbs of
torque.
This performance upgrade is
compatible to work on the latest BMW version software of MSD80
version 29.2 and MSD81 running on the N54 twin turbo
engines.
As an added feature, the Active
Autowerke-tuned Processor has double banks to store separate
individually tuned files for varied and different conditions. Now
you can have a STOCK configuration and a hi-performance tuned
version with just "... A flip of the switch..." and you are good to
go. No more hassle of going back and forth downloading when you can
have two separate tuned files all at the same time.

modifications for plug and play installation.
Applications include all twin turbo
(N54) 135/335/535 models. The processor does not apply to the new
models equipped with the single turbo N55 engine.
