Please verify fitment when
ordering. BMW used one idler pulley on these cars and two
types of tensioner. A visual inspection is the best way to
determine the tensioner you will need for your engine:
- 11 28 1 748 131 - Centered
tensioner pulley only, used with piston style tensioner
- 11 28 1 427 252 - Cam type
tensioner - complete assembly
The idler pulley is used only on the
main accessory belt. Two tensioners are used - one on the AC
belt and one on the main accessory belt.
